Same old things to slow at the back know fight in mid field.need fresh blood starting from the management.not got a clue just takes a big wage plus his mates.
it wasnt a good result and we are starting 2 get pulled into that bottom 6 zone so its time to roll are sleeves up and go back 2 basics and gettin them right and doin the ugly stuff, working hard and defending from the front, every games got 2 be a 6 pointer from now on, we hav to work hard for 1 another we need clean sheets thats wots gets results so c;on wantage
I think people need to be a little more realistic!!! I was at saturdays game and thought the lads did well for large periods. It was 2-0 at halftime and wantage went close a couple of times in the half only to be denied by the keeper and some good defending. The second half was hard work for the boys who competed well but played with only 10 men for 37 mins. However did manage to nick a goal to come back to 3-1. Almonds wents on to score 3 times in the last 10mins to suggest the gulf between the teams was greater than it really was. Lads have played once in 3 weeks and have been unable to train due to weather and lack of facilities i've been told. However Almonds are on a high having scored 16 in there last 3. They have also probably the best facilities in the league being the home of gloucestershire FA. Astroturf/indoor etc. Wantage are still unsettled with players injured of unavailible, im sure the management and players will turn things around. This forum should be used to support the team and management come on wantage!!!
seams to me that to many peaple this week want to have a go at managment be it team or club managers are put in place to do a job and should get backing of everyone at club wasnt at game but sure richie done what he felt was best every one has a favorite player im sure most of them would not be at club without him every one should back the managment not be anonymous as for playing his mates is'nt richie mates with every one wantage can still finish mid tabble if everyone plays as the can and do
