Thankfully it was only the cup, so we can now focus on promotion.
We went 1-0 down and fought back to 1-1 against the wind but gave ourselves a difficult task in the second half by conceding two soft goals. We had all of the possession in the second half but couldn't make it count in front of goal and they ended scoring a break-away goal when we had men forward in attack.
The referee didn't help our cause at all. Their 2nd goal came from a free-kick that never was and their 3rd involved an off-the-ball kick which the referee decided to ignore and then have a word after the goal had been scored. Also, after a fair but hard challenge from one of our players on theirs, the recipitent thought right to kick out and then push him in the back. When summoned by the referee he gave back-chat and was eventually booked for DISSENT!!
